Dummy Run

The Apache License 2.0 covers the code. It does not cover the name “Dummy Run” or the Dummy Run logo and mascot. No trademark is registered yet, and this policy applies before and after one is.

You may, without asking

  • Say your software works with Dummy Run, runs on it or is built from it.
  • Use the name in articles, talks, tutorials and reviews.
  • Run an unmodified copy in your organisation and call it Dummy Run.
  • Use the logo to link to this project.

Ask first before you

  • Offer a hosted or managed service with “Dummy Run” in its name or marketing.
  • Put the name or logo on merchandise.

You may not

  • Distribute a modified version as “Dummy Run”, or under a confusingly similar name or logo. Name your fork something else and say it is based on Dummy Run.
  • Imply that the project endorses your product or service when it does not.
